Pattaya, how to go there
Pattaya is a popular beach resort on the Gulf of Thailand just 150 km southeast of Bangkok. The easiest and comfortable way is a Taxi ride of two hour from Bangkok city at 2000 THB, or just over one hour from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport for 1500 THB.
Pattaya is best for:
One of the hottest beach-resort destinations in Thailand, Pattaya may not be idyllic but it certainly makes up for it with a wide variety of activities, accommodation, and nightlife venues. While Pattaya once had a well deserved reputation for its seedy nightlife, local authorities have, in recent years, improved the quality of the beaches and reinvented the resort, to some degree, as a more family friendly destination.
Activities in Pattaya
Pattaya is a lively beach town that draws visitors from around the world. With activities that include a wide array of water sports, golf, shopping, cabaret shows, an elephant village, and a Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum (to name only a very few) it’s impossible not to have an action-packed Pattaya holiday.
For the Sports Fan
Today, hundreds of thousands of visitors are drawn each year to Pattaya to windsurf, water ski, swim, sunbathe, snorkel, sail, or take trips to nearby islands. Other activities include Bungee jumping, cycling, skydiving, go-Karting, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), and Paintball (to name only a few!) Golfers, both novice and expert are well catered to as well, with a wide selection of golf courses around Pattaya including the Phoenix, Pattaya Country Club, and the Navy course near Sattahip, which offers 18 holes of golf for around 1,000 baht (around 30 US dollars)!
Another major draw for visitors to Pattaya is the wide selection of restaurants serving some of Thailand’s freshest seafood. Due to the high number of expatriate foreigners in Pattaya there is also an excellent selection of authentic foreign eateries serving French, Italian, Swiss, German, Hungarian, Scandinavian, English, Indian, Moslem, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine.
Drawing such a large number of diverse visitors from across the world, it’s no surprise that Pattaya also boasts an incredible choice of accommodation. Those on a tight budget and those with money to burn are equally able to find rooms to suit their needs. Even those who are turned off by the widespread development along Pattaya’s main beach can find some peaceful beach time at nearby Jomtien beach, just 3 kilometers south, which is a far quieter alternative.

Elaborate estates offer many desirable features for the discerning home-buyer. They may include remarkable architectural features, manicured gardens, extensive groves, ornate swimming pools, spacious tennis courts, and cozy cabanas. These types of properties are available for those who are seeking permanent homes as well as those who wish to maintain special destinations for holiday get-aways.
These properties are situated in a variety of locations. They can be centrally-located, with easy access to city life. They may be close to museums, shopping centers, airports, restaurants, cafes, parks, and nightclubs.
For the home-buyer who prefers a remote location which features peace and quiet, there are also many options available. Elaborate estates may be located in wilderness areas which are isolated, secure, and secluded. They may feature extensive parklands, serene shorelines, a diversity of wildlife, and an abundance of native flora. These locations may offer easy access to sporting activities, such as skiing, swimming, boating, scuba diving, surfing, hiking, fishing, snow-boarding, and bird-watching.
The countries which border the Mediterranean Sea have many desirable features. This popular region has an ideal climate, breath-taking mountains, clear waters, historic sites, dramatic architecture, and a wide diversity of cultures. The sea is bordered to the north by the French, Spanish, Greeks, and Italians, among others. The Egyptians, Israelis, Lebanese, and Tunisians also are situated around this extensive sea. In addition, it is home several island nations.
Luxury estates are available for those who wish to purchase historic homes as well as those who prefer contemporary structures. Buildings with long histories have many impressive features. They typically possess a great deal of character, and reflect the techniques, materials, and designs which were prominent during historic periods. These structures also have staying power, which means they were well-built and are sturdy. Home-buyers can purchase these properties with confidence.
When it comes to purchasing commercial real estate, business owners have a number of factors to keep in mind. Before you buy, consider the actual features you need. Of course, you should work with an expert in the local area. He or she should be able to help you to make many of the decisions that are going to help your business to do well in the space you invest in. Now is a great time to buy, if you know what to look for and how to get a great deal on the purchase.
What Size and Features Are Necessary?
One of the first things to consider when it comes to commercial real estate is the size and features that it offers. Some facilities can provide far more than others can, of course. If you need to open a showroom for cars your options are very different than someone opening a health food store. Consider the space you need as well as the features you need, such as large door openings, storage areas and zoning for the types of equipment you plan to use. Your agent can help you to narrow down the options by considering these factors.
